Earth Day really isn’t really about saving the planet so much as saving its inhabitants. The planet will survive – it may be a dead rock – but it will survive. It’s the people and animals and plants we have to worry about. And we especially have to worry about the people…’cause it appears...
Meanwhile, over in Nawlins, the leaders of the Southern Republicans are gathering to hear, most likely, more of their heroes talk of how bad things are in ‘Murka with a socialist president and how good things were when Bush was president and Hurricane Katrina slammed into Nawlins in 2005.
If you haven’t heard by now, you need to know the pin-head knuckle draggers who insist on carrying guns in their pants because they fear they have little else to carry in their pants are pulling the trigger on sanity around the country by staging gun-toting gatherings at Starbucks.
And speaking of what Easterners are calling the, “snowpocalypse” (harsh winter weather won’t stop hyperbole), the snow gives morons all across ‘Murka the opportunity to say, “Hey, look, it’s snowing! There’s no global warming after all! Back to the Hummer!...and I don’t mean the truck.”
